A Message from our Senior Executive Leader.

All the schools within the Orchard Community Trust are following the National and Local guidance from the Government and have closed to reduce the spread of coronavirus.  Our Commitment is to provide care for Key worker and vulnerable children at each school, if your work is not critical in the response to coronavirus, then please keep your child at home.  Schools are also ensuring children who are eligible for Free School Meals are being catered for.

Please I advise that where possible ask members of your family to look after children, this will mean less risk to your families and to our staff in these critical times.

We are advising parents to monitor the website of the school their children attend for local updates.

Handwashing advice

The most important thing individuals can do to protect themselves is to wash their hands more often, for at least 20 seconds, with soap and water. Public Health England recommends that in addition to handwashing before eating, and after coughing and sneezing, everyone should also wash hands after using toilets and travelling on public transport.

Do not leave home if you or someone you live with has either:

  • a high temperature
  • a new, continuous cough
